Charles J. Precourt
Charlie Precourt, an astronaut since 1991, brings a message of how youth opportunities shape the trajectories of life.
Among Precourt’s adventures:
piloted Atlantis for the first docking with the Russian Mir Space Station
Director of Operations for NASA - Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center
Chief of NASA’s Astronaut Corps, selecting, training, and certifying all Space Shuttle and International Space Station crews, including the tragically lost crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia
Deputy Program Manager for the International Space Station, responsible for operations management, on-orbit assembly, and NASA-ISS International Partners in Europe, Canada, Russia, and Japan.
